Preheat the oven to 350 F
- 12 * 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, plus more for the pan
- 1 * 1 cup pecans, roughly chopped
- 1 1/2 * 1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 * 1 1/4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/3 * 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 * 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1 * 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 * 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Orange Sauce - Spicy Stir Fry Sauce

ATK Healthy Family CookBook p 341 - Adjust level of spiciness by adjusting amt of Asian chili-garlic sauce - Use do
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup Chinese rice cooking wine ( I use Yu Yee brand)
- 2 tbs low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbs Asian chili-garlic sauce ( I used 1 tsp total for double batch for mild sauce)
- 2 tsp sugar-I added lots more - to taste
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp grated orange zest
- OPT-I added 2 or 3 drops (total for double batch) orange oil to boost orange flavor

- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
