- Crumb topping:
- 1 3/4 cups garbanzo-fava bean flour
- 1/2 cup potato starch
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup arrowroot
- 1 tbs plus 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp xanthan gum
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 cup coconut oil
- 1 1/3 cups agave nectar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 3 tbs vanilla extract (gluten free)
- 1 cup hot water or hot coffee (i used 1 tsp espresso powder dissolved in 1 cup hot water)
- chocolate frosting
- 6 unfrosted choc cupcakes
- 1 tbs coconut oil
- 3 tbs agave nectar
- 1/2 tsp salt
