Chicken Breast With Almonds, Sauteed

Mix the flour with salt and pepper, and dust the chicken breasts with it
- 6 boned, skinned chicken breasts
- 8 Tbsp butter (or less if you like)
- 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1 tsp finely chopped garlic
- 1 Tbsp finely chopped oinon
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Apple Pie, Easy Cheesy

Preheat overn to 350 degrees
- 1 . 4 lbs apples
- 2 . 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 . 3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 4 . 1/2 cup butter
- 5 . 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 6 . 14 oz packaged pie crust
- 7 . 1 egg white
Country Chili

Cook sausage, ground beef, onion, green peppers and garlic in large soup pot or dutch oven until sausage is browned...
- 1 lb Italian sausage (Hot or mild)
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 med green pepper, chopped
- 28 oz can whole tomatoes including juice, chopped
- Two 27 oz cans of Bush's Chili beans
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
Slow Cooker Potato Soup

1.Add bacon, 3 cups chicken stock, potatoes and onion to the bowl of a large slow cooker, and stir to combine
- 6 slices cooked bacon*, diced
- 3-4 cups good-quality chicken or vegetable stock
- 2 pounds Yukon gold potatoes**, peeled (if desired) and diced
- 1 medium white or yellow onion, peeled and diced
- 4 tablespoons bacon grease* (or butter)
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 (12-ounce) can 2% evaporated milk
- 1 cup shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt or low-fat sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt, or more to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly-cracked black pepper
- optional toppings: thinly-sliced green onions or chives, extra shredded cheese, extra bacon, sour cream
Crab Casserole, Swiss

In saucepan melt butter and saute celery, onion and green pepper
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 14 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups cooked rice, cooled
- 1 lb crabmeat, drained
- 2 cups shredded swiss
- 4 oz sliced mushrooms
- 1/3 cup olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup toasted almonds, sliced
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 3 slices swiss cheese cut into 1" X 3" strips

- 2 hard boiled eggs
- 1/2 cup sliced celery
- 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
