No Yeast- Apple Cinnamon Rolls with Maple Icing

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
- APPLE FILLING:
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon granulated white sugar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- CINNAMON-SUGAR FILLING:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, very soft
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- CINNAMON ROLL DOUGH:
- 2 cups Gold Medal® All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated white sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- ICING:
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons milk (additional, as needed)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (lightly sifted to remove lumps)
Chunky Chicken 'n Corn Chowder

In Dutch oven cook bacon over medium high heat until browned and crisp
- 6 slices bacon, cut into 1" pieces
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 4 new red potatoes, each cut into sixths
- 1 tsp. dried sage leaves
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. cubed 1" cooked chicken
- 2 c. milk
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen whole kernel corn
Chicken and Stuffing Skillet Dinner

In a large ovenproof skillet, saute the onions and garlic
- 2 T. chopped onions
- 1 t. chopped garlic
- 1 can Rotel diced tomatoes with chilis
- 1 cup shredded chicken
- 1 15 oz. can whole kernel corn
- 1 10 oz. bag frozen chopped spinach
- 1 can Campbell’s Nacho Cheese Soup
- 1/4 cup milk (you could probably use chicken broth here, but I didn’t defrost any – the milk was quicker)
- 1 t. Mrs. Dash seasoning
- 1 14 oz. box or bag stuffing mix

- 2 cups diced cooked ham
- 3/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 4 ounces butter
- 4 cups creamed style corn
- 1 cup half and half (or whole milk)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin

In a large bowl, combine the first nine ingredients; set aside
- 2 cups cubed cooked roast beef (1/4-inch pieces)
- 1-1/2 cup finely chopped cooked potatoes
- 1 cup beef gravy
- 1/2 cup finely chopped carrot
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cooked onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Pastry for double-crust pie (9 inches)

- 1-1/2 cups (375 mL) granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp (10 mL) vanilla
- 2 cups (500 mL) all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup (150 mL) cocoa powder
- 1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
- 1 cup (250 mL) sour cream
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) brandy
- 3 cups (750 mL) chopped pecans
- 2 cups (500 mL) dried sour cherries

They’re easy to put together, cute, and they travel well too
- for the graham cracker crust layer:
- 1 heaping cup of graham cracker crumbs
- 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- for the cheesecake layer:
- 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon or orange zest
- for the blueberry layer:
- TIP: a little almond extract will make canned pie filling taste fresh and wonderful!
- 1 (20 oz.) can blueberry pie filling
- 1/4 teaspoon pure almond extract
