Beer Bread

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 3 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking soda (omit if using self-rising flour)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 -12 oz. can of beer
- 1/4 c. melted butter
Broccoli Cheese Soup for the Crock Pot

Directions: 1 Sauté onion and green pepper in butter
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped broccoli
Polish Kolaczki

Makes about 5 dozen Polish Cream Cheese Kolaczki Prep Time: 30 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 45 minu
- 1 (8-ounce) cream cheese, softened
- 12 ounces (3 sticks) butter, softened
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 (14-ounce) cans fillings of choice (apricot, prune, raspberry, etc.)
- Confectioners' sugar
Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

1. Place the chicken, butter, soup, and onion in a slow cooker, and fill with enough water to cover
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 2 Tbl. Butter
- 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 (10 ounce) pkgs, refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pieces
Chicken and Dumpling Casserole

The secret of this is not to stir anything
- 2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded ( I use a store bought rotisserie chicken)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (the herbed cream of chicken soup if you can find it)
- 3 teaspoons of chicken granules (I use Wylers)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt or more to taste
Roasted Sweet Potatoes

A delicious sweet potato recipe that could only taste better with a delicious steak
- 3 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into bite size cubes
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (organic)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- A Pinch of ground ginger
- Sea salt, to taste
Easy Pizza Sauce I

Mix together the tomato paste, water, and olive oil
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1/2 tablespoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
Chicken And Biscuit Bake

This Chicken and Biscuit Bake is, basically, a cross between chicken and dumplings and a pot pie
- 3 cups (approx.) of cooked, shredded chicken (I used 2 breasts for this)
- 1 1/2 cups chicken stock or broth
- 1/4 cup (half of a stick) butter, melted
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed veggies (allow to thaw for about 30 minutes before adding to recipe)
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- Pepper
Margarita Lime Cake

A very yummy recipe for Margarita Lime Cake with tequila
- Cake
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs, at room temperature
- Zest and juice of 2 limes
- 2 tablespoons tequila
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- To Brush the cake
- 2 tablespoons tequila
- Frosting
- 1 cup butter, at room temperature
- 3 cups confectioners sugar
- 2 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 Tablespoons tequila
- 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
World's Best Potato Salad

Place the potatoes into a large pot, and fill with enough water to cover
- 6 medium potatoes
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 hard-cooked eggs, diced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- salt to taste
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup mayonnaise
