Chocolate-Drizzled Cappuccino Spoons

Preheat the oven to 325F. Prepare cookie sheets with silpat or parchment paper
- For the Cookies:
- 6 egg whites
- 500 grams powdered sugar
- 12 tablespoons instant cappuccino mix (such as the International Coffees)
- 4 tablespoons instant coffee
- 800 grams almond meal/flour
- For the Glaze/Drizzle:
- 1 11.5 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon espresso powder
- 4 tablespoons butter
Blackberry Limeade

- 6 cups water, divided
- 3 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup fresh lime juice (about 4 limes)
- 8 thin lime slices
- Fresh blackberries (optional)
Roast Potatoes with Vinegar-Baked

Adjust oven racks to lower and upper position and preheat oven to 500°F
- 4 1/2 pounds russet potatoes (see note), rinsed, peeled if desired, and cut into 2-inch chunks
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- Kosher salt
- 1/4 cup duck fat or oil
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 12 sprigs thyme
- Salt to taste
St. Patrick's Day Green Velvet Layer Cake

For the cake: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F
- Cake:
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (not Dutch process)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk, well shaken
- 1 tablespoon green liquid food coloring
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- Frosting:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- Pinch fine salt
- Green liquid or gel food coloring, optional
- Green candies and sanding sugar for decorating, optional
Pumpkin Pasta with Italian Sausage & Ham

Remove casing from sausage and brown, crumble and drain
- 2 links sweet Italian sausage
- 2 big slices spiral sliced ham [use your leftover holiday ham!]
- 8 oz. penne, rigatoni, or any tubular pasta
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3/4 cup chicken stock
- 1 cup 1/2 and 1/2 cream, divided
- 1 cup canned pumpkin [not pumpkin pie filling]
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- 4 oz. freshly grated Parmesan or Italian blend cheese
BBQ Sauce-Neely's

Yield: 3 1/2 cups
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 5 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
- 1/2 tablespoon ground mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Spiked Eggnog Custard Pie

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 1 1/2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafers
- 5 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 2/3 cups eggnog
- 1/4 cup chai creme liqueur*
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Grated whole nutmeg
- Creme-filled pirouette cookies (optional)
Gummy Frogs

For the green layer: Place water in a small saucepan
- Green Layer
- 1/3 c water
- 1 box of melon flavored jello (or any green flavor)
- 3 packets of unflavored gelatin
- White layer
- 1/3 c water
- 1 packet unflavored gelatin
- 4 oz sweetened condensed milk
- Other
- Cornstarch for dusting
- Frog chocolate/candy mold
Banana Blueberry Crumb Muffins

- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 bananas, mashed
- 3/4 cups white sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter
Greek Yogurt Cheddar Biscuits

I highly recommend making the big fat fluffy version of these biscuits
- EGG WASH:
- 2 cups all purpose flour (plus more for the work surface)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3/4 cup thick plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup cold sharp light cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup cold milk (or buttermilk)
