Pumpkin Squares

Heat oven to 350. In large mixer bowl combine all filling ingredients
- Filling:
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 1 (29 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 3 eggs
- 2 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Toppings:
- 1 (18 oz.) box white cake mix
- 1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 tbsp vanilla extract

- 1 1/4 cups champagne
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 egg whites
- 4 to 5 drops red food coloring
- Champagne Frosting
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup champagne

Basic Sweet Dough Recipe Straight-Dough

Scald milk and stir in 1/2 cup sugar, salt, and shortening
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 cup and 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt

- 2/3 cup lukewarm water
- 2 pkgs or cakes Fleischmann's yeast, dry or compressed
