- 4 level Tbsp. (4 envelopes) Knox plain gelatin
- 1 c. cold water
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Various fruit colorings and extracts to match
Peanut Brittle

Cook first three ingredients to 238 degrees on candy thermometer
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. raw spanish peanuts
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. butter in pan
Forgotten Torte

"Before starting this recipe light oven and set oven at 400 degrees
- 8 egg whites
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. granulated sugar
Breakfast Casserole II

- 1/4-1/2 c. milk
- 3/4-1 c. grated cheese (enough to cover bread)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup

- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. instant coffee
- 3 c. Cool Whip
- 1/4 c. chopped toasted almonds (optional)
Whipped Jello Mold

- 1 pkg. cream cheese
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1/4 c. marashino cherries (cut in pieces)

Sprinkle nuts on bottom of pan, pour dough on top and bake 1 hr in 350 oven
- Frosting:
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 5 c. flour
- Grated rind of 1 lemon
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- Powdered sugar
- Milk

Lynn's Favorite Taco Pie

- 1 lb. lean hamburger
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 sm. can sliced olives
- Pillsbury cresecent rolls
- Fritos
- 1 c. sour cream
- Cheddar cheese, shredded or chopped
Southwest Marinade

Marinate meat overnight in the first mixture
- Dry rub after marinating:
- 1/4 c. pineapple juice
- 1/4 c. orange juice
- 1/8 c. lime juice
- 1/8 c. soy sauce
- 1/8 c. liquid smoke
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. cumin
- 1/8 tsp. chili powder
- 1/8 tsp. sugar
