BBQ Brisket Rub

combine all ingredients. rub yellow mustard all over meat to adhere rub
- 2 T kosher salt
- 1 T coarse ground black pepper
- 2 t brown sugar
- 2 t paprika
- 1 t chili powder
- 1 t onion powder
- 1 t dried oregano
- 1 t ground cumin
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1/2 t cayenne pepper
Cheese Sauce for Philly Cheese Steaks

This is my daughter's preferred recipe for cheese sauce to top Philly Cheese Steaks
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup milk, divided
- 1 -1 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated (whatever sharpness you prefer)
- 6 ounces Velveeta cheese, cut into small chunks (the small chunks allow it to melt more quickly)
Shrimp Salad-Stuffed Endive

Stir together first 9 ingredients in a large bowl; stir in shrimp and celery
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 2 1/2 cups finely chopped, peeled and deveined, cooked shrimp (about 1 lb. of any size)
- 1/2 cup finely diced celery
- 24 Belgian endive leaves (about 2 heads)

German Lager Brisket Marinade

- 1/2 c red wine vinegar
- 1/4 c olive oil
- 3 shallots, finely diced
- 2 T honey
- 2 t sea saly
- 1 habanero pepper, halved and seeded (use gloves!)

Carolina Vineagar Barbecue Sauce

This is a thin and flavorful sauce for your pulled pork
- 1 c cider vinegar
- 1/4 c water
- 1 T brown sugar
- 1/2 t cayenne pepper
- 1/4 t black pepper
- 1/4 t red pepper flakes (I usually use more for added zip)
