Celery Salt

1)Process celery seeds in the blender or spice mill at highest speed until finely ground
- 1 tbs dried celery seed
- 2 tbs coarse salt
Lemon Pepper Seasoning

1) Zest all the lemons and mix with crushed peppercorns
- 5 + large lemons
- 1/3 cup {scant} of crushed pepper corns {black and/or medley}
- 1/4 cup kosher salt
Gingerbread (AR)

Makes one 8" X 8" square cake or one 9" kugelhoph mold
- 1 2/3 cups Brown Rice Flour Mix
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon xantham gum
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- Confectioners' sugar
Lemon Pound Cake (AR)

Makes one 9" bundt shaped cake
- CAKE
- 1 1/2 cup Brown Rice Flour Mix
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon xantham gum
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup plain whole-milk yogurt
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon pure lemon extract
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
- Confectioners' sugar, for garnish
- LEMON GLAZE
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Garam Masala

1) Put all ingredients in a pan and lightly roast the mixture
- 1/2 cup coriander seeds
- 1/4 cup cumin seeds
- 27 pods of green cardamom
- 6 bay leaves
- 11 pods of black cardamom
- 20 cloves (whole)
- 7 blades of mace
- 10 inches of cinnamon stick
- 2 star anise
- 1 tbsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp black peppercorns
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg (grated)
- 1/2 tsp salt
Pumpkin Pie

1) Place squash in a saucepan with enough water to cover
- 1 1/2 cups peeled and cubed butternut squash
- 1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground allspice
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 1 pinch ground ginger
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
