place mushrooms and onions in greased slow cooker
- 1 8oz package mushrooms, sliced
- 1 large onion
- 1 3-4lb boneless chuck roast trimmed
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil

- 1 14oz beef broth
- 1 8oz can tomato sauce

In a food processor, blend the beans, artichoke hearts, garlic, and lemon juice to a smooth paste
- 1 can (15-1/2 oz.) cannellini beans, drained and rinsed

- 2 teaspoon beef bouillon powder (or chicken)
