  • For the cake:
  • 3 cups (378 g) AP flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 lb (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3/4 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 Tbs creme de menthe
  • 1 Tbs heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup low fat sour cream
  • For the glaze:
  • 12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 3-4 T creme de menthe, to taste
  • a few drops of peppermint extract, to taste
