- 2 tsp ancho chili powder

- 1 pkg. (12.3 oz.) silken reduced-fat firm tofu (the secret ingredient!)

Beat shortening, sugar and brown sugar in large bowl with electric mixed on medium speed until creamy
- 1 c. Crisco Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 T. milk
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1 1/2 t. cream of tartar
- 1 t. salt
- Frosting, sprinkles optional
Barbecued Pork and Potatoes

This is a breeze to prepare and the end results are delicious
- 6 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes(about 1 3/4 lb.)
- 2 lb. boneless pork loin, trimmed of fat and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 t. dry mustard
- 2 c. prepared hickory-flavored barbecue sauce
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
Country Chicken Vegetable Soup

In 3 qt. saucepan, combine broth and rice
- 3 cans chicken broth
- 1/2 c. uncooked long-grain rice
- 1 15 oz. can Veg-all, drained
- 2 5 oz. cans Premium Chunk White Chicken, undrained
- 1 t. chopped fresh parsley or 1 t. dries parsley flakes
Hash Brown Frittata

In a small bowl, combine the potato and salt and let stand for 10 minutes
- 12 oz. russet potato, peeled and finely grated
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 Tbs. all-purpose flour
- 7 eggs
- 3 oz. ham steak, about 1/8 inch thick, cut into 2 1/2-by-1/4-inch strips
- 3 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 Tbs. finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- Freshly ground pepper, to taste
