Banana-Flax Bread

Makes four 6-inch or two 9-inch loaves
- Cooking spray
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 t. pure vanilla extract
- 6 overripe bananas, mached
- 2 c whole-wheat flour
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 T. ground flaxseed
- 2 t. baking soda
- 2 t.salt
Big Daddy's Dry Rub for Ribs

To cut down the amount of rub, change powders and salt to 1/8 cup
- 2 racks of pork or beef ribs-6-7 lbs.
- 1/2 c. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. onion powder
- 3/4 c. seasonsing salt
- 1/2-2 t. cayenne pepper
Garlic Shrimp and Pea Salad

Prepare dressing by combining all dressing items and mix well
- Dressing:
- 1 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas, thawed (You can use fresh peas also)
- 1/2 lb. medium(fresh or frozen)raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 4 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 c. onion, sliced
- 4 oz. china boy lo mein noodles(break in half)
- 2 large cloves, minced garlic
- 6 T. teriyaki sauce
- 2 T sesame oil
- 1/4 c. red wine vinegar

- 1/3 cup(s) sugar
- 1 tablespoon(s) sugar
- 1/4 cup(s) corn starch
- 1 pinch(s) salt
- 3 cup(s) low-fat (1%) milk
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
- 40 reduced-fat vanilla wafers, about half of one 11-ounce box
- 3 medium ripe bananas, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup(s) heavy or whipping cream
- Chopped walnuts, for garnish
- Banana slices, for garnish
Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

- 4 c. hot water
- 2 T. cider vinegar
- 2 T. sugar
- 1/2 t. freshly ground pepper
- 1 large or 2 medium onions, cut into wedges
- 1 3 lb. corned beef round or brisket packaged with spices
- 8 small white or yellow potatoes, scrubbed and cut into quarters
- 1 head of green cabbage(about 1 1/2 lb.), cored and cut into 10 wedges
Aloha Sunrise

- 4 c. pineapple juice, chilled
- 1 1/2 c. sparkling wine, chilled
- 1 c. guava juice, chilled
- 1 c. ginger ale, chilled
- Garnish with pineapple wedges

- Sprinkle on: pepper, instant chicken boullin, onion powder
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 3 T. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Ken Davis w/wine BQ sauce
- 1 1/2 T. onion flakes

- 1 qt. jar spaghetti sauce
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 T. butter

- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/2-3/4 t. chili powder
- 1/2 t. msg.
- 1/2 t. salt
