Clean Eating Baked Italian Ziti

Step 1 – While the pasta cooks, in a large skillet, cook the turkey meat in the olive oil
- 1 lb 100% whole wheat penne pasta, cooked
- 1 1/2 lbs lean, ground turkey
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tablespoons dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. honey
- 1 tsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce, no sodium is best
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
Raspberry Banana Avocado Smoothie

- 1 cup frozen raspberries (about 130 grams)
- 1/2 - 1 avocado (mine was a Hass but you can use any type; mine weighed 130 grams)
- 1 frozen banana, optional*
- 1 cup (250 grams) plain yogurt
- honey / Stevia / sugar / whatever sweetener you like
- milk, optional
Roasted Brussels sprouts

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts
- 3 tablespoons good olive oil
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line baking sheet with parchment paper
- 1 head of cauliflower, cleaned & chopped into florets
- 1 large beaten egg
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt with parsley
- 2 teaspoon of Zatarain's Big & Zesty Garlic & Herb seasoning
- 3/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3-4 Tablespoons of pizza sauce
- 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional pepperoni, sausage, peppers, etc.
EASY SCRAMBLED EGG MUFFINS

Preheat oven to 350. Break the eggs into a bowl and whisk
- 9 eggs
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh spinach
- 1/3 cup skim milk
- 1/3 cup spelt flour or whole wheat pastry flour
- 1/4 cup 2% grated cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
- 1 small tomato, chopped
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
Creamy Crockpot Italian Chicken

Cream of Chicken soup: Melt the butter in a small sauce pan over medium-low heat
- Cream of Chicken Soup:
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 package dry Italian dressing mix
- 1 recipe cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup water
- 2-3 laughing cow cream cheese blocks
- 2 cups frozen or fresh chopped veggies (broccoli, spinach, green beans, green peas)
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup milk
- salt & pepper to taste

- 2 cups Greek yogurt (I use 1 cup plain, 1 cup vanilla)
- 1 1/2 cups chopped fruit (I used strawberries & bananas)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (I used almonds)

- 1 large onion, cut into (1/4-inch-thick) slices (about 2 cups)

- Whole-grain toast topped with 1 1/2 ounces melted reduced-fat cheddar cheese; 1 cup cubed fruit
- 1/2 whole-wheat English muffin with 1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese; medium banana; served with milk or decaf fat-free latte
- Mini whole wheat bagel spread with almond butter; 1 cup plain Greek yogurt mixed with 1/2 cup frozen pureed berries
- Nut butter pancake roll-ups: microwave two small frozen pancakes and spread with 2 tablespoons nut butter; 1/2 cup grapes; serve with 8 ounces 1% low-fat or fat-free milk
- Whole wheat English muffin egg sandwich: Layer 1/2 of the English muffin with a sliced hard cooked egg, 1/4 cup reduced-fat cheddar cheese, and top with other half. Microwave until cheese is melted.
- Plain oatmeal microwaved with milk instead of water and topped with 1/4 cup California raisins and 2 tablespoons chopped almonds
