Damn Decent Brownies

Preheat oven to 350. Butter an 8 inch square pan
- 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 8 Tablespoons margarine
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Chocolate Nougat Squares

Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan
- 4 (1.76 ounces each) Milky Way bars -- cut into 1/2 inch chunks
- 1 1/4 cups cake flour
- 1/4 cup alkalized cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 sticks butter or margarine -- melted and cooled
- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate -- melted and cooled
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Mushroom Kugel

Cook noodles. Meanwhile, saute garlic, onion and pepper in oil
- 12 ounces thin noodles
- 1 can condensed mushroom soup
- 1 clove garlic -- minced
- 1 large onion -- quartered
- 1 green pepper -- cut in chunks
- 1 stalk celery -- cut in chunks
- 2 Tablespoons oil
- 4 eggs
- salt and pepper -- to taste

- 2 large egg whites
- 1 cup cool whip

- 1 bunch broccoli
- 1 cup dried currants
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup diced red onion

Mushroom Barley Soup

- 3 Tablespoons oil
- 1 1/4 cups chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic -- minced
- 1 pound mushrooms -- sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 4 Tablespoons dry sherry
- 1/2 cup barley
- 6 to 7 1/2 cups vegetable stock or water
- 4 Tablespoons soy sauce
Lebanese Salad

- 5 large yukon gold potatoes -- (2 1/4 pounds)
- 1 large onion -- halved
- 1 large egg
- 2 Tablespoons flour or matzo meal
