Easy BBQ Chickpea Casserole

Spray a 2 quart ovenproof casserole with spray
- 4 cups chickpeas (2- 19 oz.. cans) -- drained and rinsed
- 2 cups canned stewed tomatoes
- 3 to 4 Tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 medium onion -- chopped
- 1 green pepper -- chopped
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- pepper -- to taste
Chocolate Bar Pie

In a stand mixer, beat the milk, eggs, margarine, water, sugar, salt, and yeast until combined
- DOUGH
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup margarine -- melted, but cooled
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
- 4 cups bread flour
- CHOCOLATE FILLING
- 12 ounces good quality chocolate
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 stick margarine -- melted
- CRUMB TOPPING
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 stick margarine -- melted
Israel Apricot Chicken

Heat oil in saucepan and add onions
- 1 large chicken
- 2 Tablespoons oil
- 2 onions -- cut in rings
- 1/2 pound apricot preserves
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Decadent Chocolate Cake

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9 inch round cake pan
- 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- GLAZE
- 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup dark corn syrup
- 2 Tablespoons margarine
- 2 teaspoons whipping cream
Carrot Kugel I

- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 3 jars baby carrot food
- 1 1/2 cups oil
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Brisket in Red Wine

- 1 6 to 7 pound brisket
- 1 cup beef bouillon
- 1 can tomato soup or 12/ cup ketchup
- 2 Tablespoons BBQ sauce
- 2 Tablespoons onion soup powder
- 2 Tablespoons sweet paprika
- 2 Tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper
- 3/4 cup sweet red wine
- 1/4 cup dry red wine
- 3 cloves garlic -- minced
- 1 medium onion -- sliced
- 1 cup mushrooms -- sliced
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice

- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cold milk
- 1 package instant pudding mix
- 1 12 ounce whipped topping
- 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 1/4 cup melted margarine
- 2 21 ounce cans pie filling
California Crunch

- 2 small cans or 1 large can French Fried Onions
- 1 can creamed corn

- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

- 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate -- chopped
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick margarine -- at room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup water
