Molasses Sugar Cookies

Mix ingredients in order given and chill
- 3/4 Cup Shortening or Salad Oil
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Baking Molasses
- 1 Egg
- 2 tsp. Soda
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 tsp. Cloves
- 1/2 tsp. Ginger
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
Apricot Nut Pastries

With pastry blender, cut butter into flour mixture until mixture resembles fine crumbs
- 1 Cup Butter or Margarine
- 2 Cups Flour (sifted)
- 1/2 Cup Dairy Sour Cream
- 1 Egg Yolk (beaten)
- 1/2 Cup Apricot Preserves
- 1/2 Cup Flaked Coconut
- 1/2 Cup Pecans (finely chopped)
- Granulated Sugar
Tarantula Cookies

1. Preheat oven to 350°F
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup light brown sugaar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 bag (8 ounces) thin, short pretzel sticks
- 1 large bag (11 1/2 ounces) milk chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Chocolate sprinkles
- Small red candies
General Tsofu

1. Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes
- Sauce:
- 1 tub extra firm tofu
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- freshly ground black or white pepper, to taste
- Cornstarch, as needed
- 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons vegetable broth or water
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch for thickening sauce, optional
- Other:
- 3 green onions (spring onions, scallions)
- 5 to 10 small dried red chilli peppers, according to taste
- 3 – 4 cups oil for deep-frying and stir-frying, as needed

- 1 9" Crumb Crust Pie Shell
- 1 8 oz. pkg. Cream Cheese
- 1 1/2 Cup (15 oz. can) Eagle Brand Milk
- 1/2 Cup Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 Can Cherry Pie Filling

- 3/4 pound Gruyère de Comté cheese, coarsely grated
- 3/4 pound Gruyère de Beaufort cheese, coarsely grated
- 3/4 pound Appenzeller cheese, coarsely grated
- 3/4 pound Morbier cheese, coarsely grated
- 1/4 pound Roquefort cheese
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
- Kosher salt and freshly ground white pepper
- 3 baguettes, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 large egg

- 1/3 Cup Butter or Margarine
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Karo Syrup
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 3/4 Cup Flour
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 Cup Nuts (chopped)
No Bake Date Cookies

Mix together and cook all ingredients, except Rice Krispies, for 10 minutes on low heat
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1 Cup Dates
- 1 Egg
- 2 Cups Rice Krispies
- Coconut or confectioners' sugar
