- 1/2 lb. Butter
- 1/2 Cup Confectioners' Sugar
- 1 3/4 Cup Flour
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1/4 Cup Nuts (chopped)
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. Chocolate bits (melted)
Butter Cookies

Beat 1 cup butter with 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- Frosting:
- 1 Cup Butter
- 1/3 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Corn Starch
- 1 Cup Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Butter (melted)
- 1 tsp. Almond Flavoring
- 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
- Cream
Old-Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies

Cream shortening, brown sugar and granulated sugar together
- 2 Cups Flour (sifted)
- 1 tsp. Soda
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
- 2 Eggs (unbeaten)
- 1/3 Cup Milk (sweet or sour)
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 2 Cups Quick Cooking Oatmeal
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar (firmly packed)
- 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 Cup Shortening (soft)
- 3/4 Cup Nutmeats (chopped)
Fresh Strawberry Pie

Bake pie shell until golden brown
- 1 9" Pie Shell
- 4 Cups Fresh Strawberries washed, hulled, chilled and sliced
- 1 1/2 Cups water
- 3/4 Cups Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Corn Starch
- 1 3 oz. pkg. Strawberry Flavored Gelatin
Raspberry Cheesecake Tarts

I skip the pie crust and chocolate steps and just put the filling in packaged chocolate dessert cups
- 2 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, cut up
- 1/2 teaspoon shortening
- 1 2 ounce package baked miniature phyllo dough shells (fifteen 1-1/2-inch shells)
- 1 3 ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons dairy sour cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons raspberry liqueur (or limoncello, peppermint flavor, Kirsch, maraschino cherry juice, pumpkin pie filling, or milk)
- 15 fresh raspberries (optional)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Macaroni Salad

1. Cook your macaroni according to package directions
- 6 cups cooked elbow macaroni or rotini pasta
- 3/4 cup olives -sliced or chopped
- 3 dill pickles - chopped
- 3 sweet dill pickles - chopped
- 2 green onions - chopped (stems included)
- 1 cup sliced grape tomatoes or regular
- 1 cup cubed cheddar cheese
- 2 boiled eggs - chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Cheese Cake Pie

Soften cream cheese. Add eggs, one at a time, beating each with electric mixer
- Topping:
- 2 10" Graham Cracker Crusts
- 3 8 oz. pkgs. Cream Cheese
- 6 Eggs
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 pint Sour Cream
- 5 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
Carrot Cookies

Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and carrots together
- 1 Cup Shortening
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Carrots (mashed, cooked)
- 2 Cups Flour
- 3/4 Cup Coconut
- 2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/8 tsp. Salt
Custard Pie
