Apricot Ham Steaks

In a large skillet, saute ham slices in 1 T
- 4 individual thick sliced *Drier's* ham
- 5 about 5 oz. each
- 2 T. butter divided
- 1/2 C. apricot preserves
- 1 T. cider vinegar
- 1/4 t. ground ginger
- dash salt
Smoked Sausage With Cabbage, Sweet Potatoes And Apples

Stir chicken broth and mustard in deep 12 inch skillet
- 1 - 1 1/2 lbs.*Drier's* smoked sausage, cut into 1/2 inch slices.
- 1 (13 oz) can chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. *Drier's* mustard
- 1 pound sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch chunks
- 1/2 cup onion, coarsely chopped
- 1 1/4 lbs. green cabbage, shredded coarse (6 packed cups).
- 1 large golden delicious or other firm apple quartered, cored and cut into 1/2 inch pieces
Ham With Carrots And Parsnips (slow cooker)

In a 5- to 6-quart slow cooker, combine carrots and parsnips
- 1 16-oz. pkg. peeled baby carrots
- 1 lb. parsnips, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices
- 2 1/2-lb. *Drier's* ham portion
- 1 c. apple juice or apple elder
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. honey mustard or *Drier's*mustard
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
No-Fuss Drier's Ham Patties

In a large bowl, combine the egg, milk, pickle relish, 6 T
- 1 egg,lightly beaten
- 1/4 C. milk
- 3 T. Sechler's sweet pickle relish
- 8 T. dry bread crumbs, divided
- 1-1/2 t *Drier's* mustard
- 10 oz. *Drier's* ham,ground
- 3 T. butter
Texas Two-Step Stew

In a medium skillet, cook sausage and onion over medium heat until sausage is brown
- 8 oz. uncooked chorizo sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 15-oz. can Mexican-style or tex-mex-style chill beans
- 1 15-oz. can hominy or one 11-oz. can whole kernel corn with sweet peppers, drained
- 1 6-oz. pkg. regular Spanish-style rice mix
- 6 c. water
Bacon Cheddar Quiche

In a greased 9 in microwave-safe pie plate layer the bacon, cheese,mushroons and onion
- 14 strips of *Drier's* bacon cooked and crumbles
- 1 C. shredded N.Y. cheddar cheese
- 1 jar slice mushrooms,drained
- 1 T. dried minced onion
- 5 eggs
- 1 can evaporated milk
Barbecue Polish Sausage

In a large skillet, saute onion in butter until tender
- 1 med. onion halved and thinly sliced
- 1 T. butter
- 1 lb. *Drier's* polish sausage, cut into 1/4 inch slices
- 1 C. ketchup
- 1/3 to 1/2 C. packed brown sugar
- 2 T. Worcestershire sauce
Hot German Rice Salad

In a skillet over medium heal, cook bacon until crisp
- 8 *Drier's* bacon strips
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. cider vinegar
- 3/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped pimientos
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 tbsp. chopped onion
- 3-1/2 c. hot cooked rice
- 1 hard-cooked egg, sliced
Macaroni Salad

Cook macaroni according to package directions
- 2 lb. uncooked elbow macaroni
- 12 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
- 2-1/2 lb.*Drier's* ham cubed
- 1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen peas, thawed
- 3 c. sliced celery
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 jar (4 oz.) diced pimientos, drained
- 1 quart more or less mayonnaise to taste
Sausage And Potato Casserole

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 lb. bacon, diced
- 1 lb. driers summer sausage thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 tsp. sweet paprika
- 3 lb. baking potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 bay leaf
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 quart water
- 1 to 2 tbsp. seasoned salt
- 6 tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
- 4 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 c. sour cream
