- 6 tablespoons butter, cubed
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1 small pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 12 maraschino cherries, well drained
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup canola oil
- 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- 4 boneless pork loin chops
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon steak seasoning (such as Montreal Steak Seasoning or make your own*)
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon kosher/coarse salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander
- 1 tablespoon dill
- 1/2 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
- Combine all the spices in a small bowl. Store in an airtight container and use as needed.
Red Velvet Brownies with White Chocolate Frosting

- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 2 T red food coloring (I used red food color paste so in that case, less than 2T)

- Crust:
- 200 gr. flour
- 140 gr. icing sugar
- 160 gr butter at room temperature
- 40 gr. ground almonds
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1 pinch of salt
- Rhubarb:
- 3 stalks rhubarb, sliced
- 4 soup spoons of sugar
- Cream Filling:
- 3 eggs
- 375 ml. milk
- 75 gr. sugar
- 30 gr. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. vanilla paste or 1 vanilla bean
- Syrup:
- 250 ml. water
- 150 gr. sugar
- a squeeze of lemon
