Shrimp Lo Mein

For the noodles: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the noodles according to their package directions
- Salt
- 8 ounces dried Chinese egg noodles, or 1 pound fresh
- 1 packet chicken bouillon mix, such as Knorr, dissolved in 1 3/4 cups hot water
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons minced ginger
- 1 small bunch scallions, white and green parts, sliced
- 1 pound small shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup thinly sliced white button mushrooms
- 2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
- 1 large carrot, shredded
- 1/4 head Napa cabbage, finely shredded
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Preheat oven to 250. Heat margarine in large shallow roasting pan (15x10x2) until melted
- 1/2 c margarine
- 1-1/4 t salt
- 1 t garlic powder
- 1 t onion powder
- 1/2 t chili powder
- 4-1/2 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 t bottled hot pepper sauce
- 2 c corn chex
- 2 c rice chex
- 2 c wheat chex
- 2 c bran chex
- 1 c salted mixed nuts
- pretzels
- bagel chips
- raisins
Cinnamon Coffee

- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 c instant coffee
- 2/3 c granulated sugar
- 2/3 c powdered milk or coffee creamer

- 1-1/2 tsp baking powder

- 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt, divided
- 4 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 1/2 cups unsalted chicken stock
- 1/4 cup dried apricots, chopped
- 1/4 cup golden raisins
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, divided
- 2 tablespoons unsalted chicken stock
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 (15-ounce) can unsalted chickpeas, rinsed and drained

- 3 eggs
- 1 1/8 c brown sugar
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 1/2 c shortening or margarine
- 1 1/2 c peanut butter
- 1 T vanilla
- 2 t soda
- 4 1/2 c oatmeal
- 1/4 lb M&Ms
- 1 c chocolate chips
Roasted Salmon with Soy-Marmalade Glaze
