Sugar Cookies

Crème butter, add sugar gradually, Crème until light and fluffy
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. crème of tartar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Grandma's Thanksgiving Dressing

Omit herbs and salt if using a seasoned stuffing mix
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 c. parsley
- 2 (8 oz) cans mushrooms, drained
- 12-13 c. slightly dry bread cubes
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp. marjoram (optional)
- 3 1/2-4 1/2 c. chicken or turkey broth
- 1 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 well beaten eggs
- diced giblets
Orange Nut Muffins

Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt
- Frosting:
- 1 2/3 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/8 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1/3 c. frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 1/3 c. butter, melted and cooled
- 1/3 c. walnuts
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. finely chopped orange peel
- orange juice to get right consistency
Danish Apple Bars

Pour over flour and mix first enough to form a soft dough roll 1/2 out to fit 10 x 15 pan
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. lard cut into flour
- 1 egg yolk slightly beat in cup add enough milk to make 2/3 cup
- 2 corn flakes spread on crust
- 2 cans pie mix spread on corn
- flakes may use 5 c. fresh
- apples 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. flour and cinnamon
Pork Loin with Tangy Mustard Sauce

Mix marinade ingredients together
- Marinade:
- 3 lb boneless Pork Loin Roast
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- Sauce:
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup horseradish
- 1/2 cup apricot or pineapple preserves
Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Cook potatoes until tender, with skins
- 4 lb. red potatoes
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. half & half
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 tsp. onion salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/4-1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Place sugar, corn syrup and water in saucepan of over low heat
- 4 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 3/4 c. water
- 3 egg whites- stiffly beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup walnuts
Boursin Mushrooms

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Clean mushroom and place upside down in baking dish
- 1 pkg. large mushrooms
- 1 pkg. Boursin cheese
- 1 can beef broth
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- Parmesan cheese
Rainbow Fruit Salad

Peel and section oranges. Stir together honey, lime peel, lime juice, cinnamon and oranges
- 2 medium oranges
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1/2 tsp. shredded lime peel
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. fresh blueberries or raspberries
- 1 1/2 c. cubed cantaloupe
- 1 c. seedless grapes
- 1 c. sliced strawberries
- 1 c. sliced pineapple
- slivered almonds

- 2 tbsp. flour

- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
