In a large bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2/3 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups chopped peanut butter cups (about six 1.6-ounce packages)
Black Bean Southwest Salsa

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, except chips
- 3 cans ( 15 ounces each ) black beans, rinsed and drained. 1 1/2 cups Hendrickson's Italian dressing.
- 7 ounce jar Dromedary,O-Sage Pimientos, drained
- 1 cup thinly sliced green onions
- 1 medium tomato, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley
- 3 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3 garlic cloves, minced

Hearty Potato Soup Recipe

In a Dutch oven, cook the potatoes, carrots and celery in water until tender, about 15-20 minutes
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 6 celery ribs, chopped
- 8 cups water
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 tablespoons butter, cubed
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper

- 1/2 cup butter ( 1 stick )at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 / cup unbleached flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mashed very ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup sour cream

- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 14 ounces (about 3 cups) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt (1 1/2 if using unsalted butter)
- 2 teaspoons dry yeast
- 1 cup water at 100°
- 3 Tablespoons of flour for bench work
- Makes 24 ounces of dough, enough for 2 or 3 pizzas.
- Allow at least 2 hours for rising
