  • 15 potatoes all over with a fork. Microwave potatoes on high, turning once, until tender, about 15 minutes. Remove from microwave, let cool slightly, then peel and mash with milk and butter. Season with salt and pepper.

  • to you follow the directions then yes you will get a bland dinner but I always use ground turkey and add my own spices to give a nice flavor. I also make more mashed potatoes because my family loves them. I think this is a great week day family dinner.

  • to Cook potatoes, mash potatoes, cook veggies AND ground beef....This is not a slow cooker recipe that I would want. What happend to "layer items in slow cooker & forget?" Too many steps & dirty dishes...lol MOST of ur recipes i LOVE!

  • Totally blah! needs some stronger spices. I made it exactly like recipe. Most shepherds pies I have seen have a solid meat base. This one is like taco meat. I definitely would never make again.
