Mini Vanilla Wafer Cookies

- 1/2 cup butter, soft
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 1 1/3 cup flour

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth; fold in whipped topping and cake cubes
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar

- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus more for bowl and pans
- 2 tablespoons caraway seeds, plus more for topping
- 4 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for surface and dusting
- 2 1/2 cups rye flour
- 1 large egg white

- 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Mix all ingredients in a bread machine using the Manual cycle
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 3 tablespoons wheat germ
- 3 tablespoons sugar

- 4 cups bread flour 1 1/2 cups sourdough starter

Overnight Pull-Apart Cinnamon Loaf

Make dough: In a microwave-safe measuring cup, heat the milk until just warm (105 to 115 degrees F)
- Dough:
- 3/4 C. milk
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1/4 C. (4 T.) butter, melted
- 2 T. granulated sugar
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 t. salt
- 2 1/2 C. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 C. whole wheat flour (or more all-purpose flour)
- Filling:
- 1/4 C. (4 T.) butter, melted
- 3/4 C. granulated sugar
- 2 t. ground cinnamon
- Glaze:
- 1/2 C. powdered sugar
- 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1 - 2 T. milk (however much is needed to achieve pourable consistency)
Balsamic Marinated Chicken

- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
