  • 1-1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Refrigerate overnight

  • Layer as follows in 13x9 pan:
  • 1 Head Lettuce, torn
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 or 2 chopped green onions (use green tops, too!)
  • 1 small bag frozen peas (initial recipe calls out for canned peas, but I like the frozen!)
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese
  • Make dressing by combining 1 cup Miracle Whip, 1/2 cup Sour Cream, 1/2 cup Buttermilk dressing and about 1Tbls. sugar. Adjust amounts to your liking. You want this to be a bit runny because you are going to pour this over top. Then top with bacon bits.

  • Base Layer:
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Mix together well and press into 13 x 9 baking pan. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
  • Next Layer:
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 can condensed milk (aka Eagle Brand…I use low-fat!)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter chips (I added this to original recipe, so it’s optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional (I used a mixture of different kinds)
  • Melt together and pour over crust…(it’s thick…spoon and spread gently).
  • Bake at 325 for 25 minutes. Cool.
  • Frosting:
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1-1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • Mix well. Frost bars.
