- 1/2 pound extra firm silken tofu (about 1 cup)

- 11 ⁄2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 4 egg yolks
- 8 (1-ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pilgrim's Potato Chowder

1.Combine half of potatoes with broth in saucepan with tight fitting lid
- 1 pound potatoes, cubed and divided (about 3 medium)
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup sliced carrot rounds
- 1 (11-ounce) can corn, drained
- 1/2 cup sliced celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup half-and-half, divided
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 2 cups grated Swiss or Monterey Jack cheese
