Creamy Balsamic Dressing

Whisk together garlic, mayo, lemon juice, dijon mustard, sugar, Nature's Seasoning, and salt until well combined
- 4 cloves garlic, grated
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons Morton's Nature's Seasoning
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 3/4 cup extra light olive oil
Make a box mix taste like a bakery cake

- Step 1: Look at the directions on the cake mix,
- Step 2: Add one more egg (or add 2 if you want it to be very rich),
- Step 3: Use melted butter instead of oil and double the amount,
- Step 4: Instead of water, use milk.
- Step 5: Mix well and bake for the time recommended on the box.
Easy Meatballs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Garlic Cheese Breadsticks

These are so good they're hard to stop eating once you start! The breadsticks start with an easy pizza dough recipe...
- Optional:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry active yeast
- 3/4 to 1 cup lukewarm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups Italian cheese blend, shredded
- 1/2 to 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
- Parsley, for garnish
- Warm pizza sauce, for serving
Simple Marinara

Heat oil in a large saute pan over medium heat
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 4 cups fresh tomatoes, halved or quartered if large
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
Chicken Salad with Bleu Cheese and Grapes

In a large bowl, whisk the mayonnaise with the vinegar
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 3 ounces crumbled mild blue cheese ; such as Maytag ( 3/4 cup)
- 2 1/2 cups diced roasted chicken ; (from 1 rotisserie chicken)
- 1 1/2 cups halved red and green grapes
- 2 celery ribs ; finely diced
- 3 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley
- Salt ; and freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 cup salted roasted sunflower seeds
Refrigerator Dill Pickles

1) Combine vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard seeds, coriander seeds and dill seeds in a heatproof bowl
- 1-1/2 cups distilled white vinegar
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 4 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 3/4 teaspoon dill seeds
- 2 cups hot water
- 2 pounds kirby cucumbers, sliced 1/4-inch thick
- 3/4 cup coarsely chopped fresh dill
- 3 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
Bacon and Mushroom Risotto

In a heavy bottom pot (such as a Dutch oven), heat the olive oil over medium heat
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 5 strips of bacon, diced
- 8 ounces sliced wild mushrooms, such as porcini or shiitake
- 1 1/2 cups arborio rice
- 1/2 cup dry white wine, such as sauvignon blanc
- 5 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish
Mexican Chicken

Marinate 2-4 chicken breasts in oil, lime juice and garlic
- 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup Lime Juice
- 2 cloves Garlic ; crushed
- 2 boneless Chicken breast
White Sangria

Mix, cover and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight
- 1 large bottle of White Sangria or other sweet white wine
- 3 tbs spiced rum
- 3 tbs orange liquor
- 2-3 tbs sugar
- Sliced fruit (lemons, oranges & apples or whatever you have)
