In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first six ingredients
- 1 1 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 2 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 3/4 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1 1 egg
- 1 1 1 cup buttermilk
- Oil for deep-fat frying
WHITE CHOCOLATE COOKIES

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and shortening
- 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar

- 2 tsp vanilla
- 10 ounces white chocolate, coarsely chopped

Slow-Cooker Beef Stew

- 1-1/2 cups (375 mL) beef stock
- 1 can (5 oz/156 mL) tomato_paste
- 1 bay_leaf
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) Worcestershire_sauce
- 1 cup (250 mL) frozen peas
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt

- 2 quarts apple cidar
- 1 1/2 cups orange juice
- 3/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 cinnamon stick (3 inches)
- dash cinnamon
- dash cloves
TEXAS BROWNES

- FROSTING:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup coffee or water
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp cocoa
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3 1/2 cups icing sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- TIPS: Add 2 tsp vinegar or lemon juice to milk if buttermilk is not available
BANANA CAKE

Sift dry ingredients together
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 -3 small banana
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sour milk
- (add 1/8 cup vinegar to milk to make sour)
PEACH COBBLER COFFE CAKE

- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
- GLAZE:
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1-2 Tbsp milk

- FILLING:
- 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 cup cold butter, cubed
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups whipped topping
- TOPPING:
- 2 packages (3 ounces each) raspberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen sweetened raspberries
- Additional whipped topping and fresh mint, optional
