Zesty Pizza Sauce

In glass measuring cup, mix together all ingredients
- 15 ounces, fluid Tomato Sauce
- 3 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
- 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Red Wine Vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Minced Onion
- 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
- 1/4 teaspoons Seasoned Salt

Directions Directions In a small saucepan, heat the milk until lukewarm
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups water, lukewarm
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 tablespoon clover honey
- 2 1/2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- Nonstick spray
- Whipped Butter, for serving, recipe follows.
- Orange-Blueberry Marmalade, for serving, recipe follows.
- Special equipment: 3 1/2-inch metal rings
Portabella Skins

Preheat oven to 450. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray lightly with cooking spray; set aside
- 4 portabella mushrooms
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2/3 cup fat-free shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 slices turkey bacon; crisply cooked (with nonstick spray) and crumbled
- 1 small tomato; seeded and chopped
- 1 tbsp. minced fresh chives
Spicy Mexican Slaw with Lime and Cilantro

Thinly slice cabbage, using a mandoline or food processor if desired
- 4 cups thinly sliced green cabbage
- 2 cups thinly sliced red cabbage
- (You can use all green or all red cabbage.)
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro (or more)
- 4 T mayo
- 3 T fresh lime juice (more or less to taste)
- hot sauce to taste (I used about 1/2 tsp. green Tabasco sauce)
- salt to taste (I used Vege-Sal)

- (I chop up a generous amount of all ingredients and store in the fridge so I can make the salad several times during the week.)

- turkey pepperoni, cut in halves or quarters
- hearts of palm, cut into slices
- marinated mushrooms, cut into halves or quarters

- capers, 2-3 tsp. per salad
- your favorite garlicky Italian dressing (I buy a sugar-free garlicky dressing from one of my favorite restaurants for this.)
Hard Chocolate Sauce - Dairy Queen Style

This is a nice "shell" sauce that is easy to make and hardens when put on ice cream
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup hard margarine
- 1/4 cup oil (I use canola)
