Janice's Creamy Pralines

Spread a couple of sheets of newspaper on counter and cover with waxed paper
- 4 cups white can sugar
- 1 stick Parkay margarine
- 1 tall can carnation milk
- 1/2 t. vanilla flavoring
- 3 cups pecan halves
Banana Cake with vanilla bean frosting

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Cake:
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 egg
- 2 T. unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup mashed super ripe banana (about 2)
- 1 t. pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- Frosting:
- 2 T. unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar, sifted
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 t. vanilla bean paste or 1 T. vanilla extract
Greenbean Casserole

Combine beans and onion in saucepan and cook until onions are tender
- 1 cans French style green beans
- onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 roll garlic cheese
- bread crumbs
Korean Ribs

Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 T. rice vinegar
- 2 T. sesame oil
- 2 T. red pepper powder
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 T. grated ginger
- 1 cup. onions
- 3 lbs. baby back ribs
- 1/4 cup honey
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped scallions for garnish
Cabbage Casserole

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 c. bell pepper, chopped
- garlic
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 8 oz. water
- 1 can Rotel
- seasoning to taste
- 1/2 c. rice
- 1 large cabbage
Smoky Scalloped Potatoes

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- 3 T unsalted butter
- 1 small shallot, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 T flour
- Kosher sale and freshly ground pepper
- 3 c. half and half
- 1-2 t smoke paprika
- 2 1/2 lbs. russet potatoes, pelled and thinly sliced
- 1 c. grated sharp white cheddar cheese
- 1/3 c. fresh grated parmesan cheese
Coca Cola Pork Tenderloin

Combine all the ingredients except for the meat, to form a marinade
- Glaze:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup coca cola
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 T. Dijon mustard
- 3 T oil
- 2 T worchestershire sauce
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 T dry mustard
- 2 T. balsamic vinegar
- 1 t. ginger
- 1 t. thyme, crushed
- 5 pounds pork loin road, boned and rolled
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 T. cornstarch
- 1/2 t. dry mustard
- 2 T butter
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2/3 cup coca cola
- Sea salt and fresh ground pepper.
Broccoli Casserol

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 2 10 oz packages frozen broccoli
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 large stalk celery
- 1 4 oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 T flour
- 1 8 oz. roll garlic cheese
- bread crumbs
Lemon Cake

Bake cake as directed in a 10 inch tube pan
- 1 package lemon cake mix
- 2 c. prepared lemon pudding and pie filling
- 1 8 oz Cool Whip
Almost Stuffed Cabbage

Mix all ingredients in a rice cooker
- 3 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (14 1/2 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef, uncooked
- 1/2 pound sausage, sliced thin
- Salt and pepper to taste
