- 8 ounces smoked salmon, flaked

Black Bean Chili with Cilantro

1n 4- to 5-quart Dutch oven, heat sherry and oil over medium heat

- cup dry sherry or Progresso® chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)

Sweet Potato Chili

Make this a day ahead so that the spices mingle and the flavors mellow
- 1 Tbl extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 small sweet potato, peeled and diced
- 1/3 c. diced onion - or more
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small jalapeno, seeded, deveined and diced
- 1 small red or orange bell pepper, seeded, deveined and diced
- 2 tsp. cumin
- 1 15-oz. can diced tomatoes with their juices
- 1 15-oz. can kidney beans
- 1 c. cooked or frozen corn
- 1-2 Tbl fresh lime juice, to taste
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste (we didn't add)
- 1 c. low fat plain Greek yogurt, optional
- 1/2 c. chopped cilantro
Hershey's Best Brownie

- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 2 cups sugar(14.1 oz)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa or HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Cocoa (3.0 oz)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour(4.4 oz)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Chocolate chips - then don't need the frosting.
Chili Con Carne

- 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef or ground turkey
- 1.5-2 large onion, chopped (2 cup)
- 2 stalks celery
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 jalapeno
- 2 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 2 teaspoon unsweetened baking cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper sauce (siracha)
- 3 cans (14oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can chili beans, undrained
- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 c. juice from cooked chicken (optional)
Strawberry Smoothie

In a blender combine strawberries, milk, yogurt, sugar and vanilla

- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
