Blue Cheese Dip

Combine dip ingredients - sour cream, mayonnaise, blue cheese, vinegar, and garlic - in a blender or food processor
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp white wine vinegar or white vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Chocolate Pie

Preheat oven to 425°. In a large pot, mix all dry ingredients together
- 2 Cups Sugar + 1/2 Cup for topping
- 2 Tbsp Cocoa
- 2 Tbsp Self-Rising Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Cup Milk
- 1 Can Evaporated Milk
- 4 Egg Yolks (save the whites for topping)
- 2 Cooked Pie Shells
Chocolate Pound Cake

Preheat oven to 325°. Grease a bundt pan
- 2 Sticks Butter or Margarine (softened)
- 1/2 Cup Crisco
- 3 Cup Sugar
- 5 Large Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3 Cup Cake Flour (sifted)
- 1/2 Cup Cocoa
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 1/4 Cup Milk
Fruit Cobbler

Preheat oven to 375°. Melt butter in a casserole dish
- 1/2 Cup butter or Margarine
- 1 Quart Peaches or Favorite Fruit
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Plain Flour
- 3/4-1 Cup Sugar
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Cup Milk
Salmon Patties (Gran's)

- 1 Can Pink Salmon (skinned, boned, and drained)
- 1 Egg
- 4-5 Saltine Crackers (crushed)

Pecan Pie (Mom's)

Fit pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate according to package directions: fold edges under, and crimp
- 1/2 (15-ounce) package refrigerated piecrusts (or frozen already in pan)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
- Pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup pecan halves (sometimes, I chop all pecans and save about 3/4 cup for sprinkling on the top)
Deep Fried Loaded Potato Skin

Fry sliced potatoes in several batches, in heated hot oil till brown, around 10 minutes
- 5lb bag of scrubbed potatoes, sliced thick, about 1/2 inch.
- 1 quart of oil
- 2 cups of fiesta blend cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup crumbled bacon
- 1 container of sour cream
Taco Pie
