  • 1/4 cup seedless strawberry jam, melted
  • 1 1/2 pints strawberries, hulled and halved lengthwise

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease cookie sheets with shortening

  • Glaze:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
