Mushroom Beef Tips Over Noodles

- 2 pounds beef cut into 1" cubes
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cans condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
- 3/4 cup sherry
- 1 medium clove garlic minced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 pound broad egg noodles dry
Blueberry Scones

Fresh blueberries make these tender, buttery scones a wonderful morning treat
- 2 cups cake flour (9 ounces weight)
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 5 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small pieces
- 2/3 cup whipping cream or heavy cream plus more for tops
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup frozen blueberries (do not thaw)
- Vanilla sugar or granulated sugar for tops, optional
Bread Pudding

1. In medium saucepan, over medium heat, heat milk (or half & half) just until film forms over top
- VANILLA SAUCE:
- 2 cups whole milk OR
- 2 cups half & half
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar OR
- 2/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups bread, torn into small pieces (french bread works best)
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
- ...................................
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup granulated white sugar OR
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- Dash of salt
Cherry Cheesecake

This week's Dessert of the Week features a luscious Cherry Cheesecake
- 2 cups of graham crackers
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons of butter PLUS another stick, melted
- 4 packages ( 8 ounces each) of cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup of all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup of lemon juice
- 7 eggs slightly beaten
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of evaporated milk
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1 can ( 21 ounces) of cherry pie filling
Mexican Rice I

This Mexican rice is made with rice, onion, green bell pepper, garlic, tomatoes, and spices
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 1 can (about 15 ounces) diced tomatoes with liquid
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth (chicken broth would work too)
