- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2/3 cup chocolate chips

- Cheesecake Filling:
- 10 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Tip for Cinnamon Rolls

Use peanut butter (smooth or chunky) instead of margarine to spread over the dough

Fresh Corn and Chicken Chowder

This will have you in and out the kitchen with time to spare
- 12 oz. skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 4 fresh ears of sweet corn
- 1 32-oz. container chicken broth
- 1 small green sweet pepper, chopped (I used an Anaheim pepper)
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1-3/4 cups instant mashed potato flakes (if you want the chowder thicker, increase by 1/4 cup increments to desired thickness)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Crushed red pepper, optional
