Preheat oven to 350 Cook pasta to package directions Brown ground meat with the onion and garlic, then drain

  • 1 pkg (16 oz) uncooked mostaccioli or ziti
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 2 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 jar (48 oz) spaghetti sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 egg
  • 1 container (15 oz) part skim ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 c snipped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 c grated fresh parmesan cheese, divided
  • Additional snipped fresh parsley

  • 6 0z long grain and wild rice (Uncle Ben's original)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom
  • 1 can cream of chicken (or celery)
  • 1 1/2 C. water
  • 4-5 chicken breasts (recipe calls for chicken leg quarters, but we only buy breasts)
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
