- 2 (10 oz.) packages frozen broccoli flowerets, thawed and coarsely chopped (or fresh broccoli, cooked and chopped)
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup Miracle Whip or mayo
- 1 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 8 oz. Old English or Monterey Jack cheese slices (or 1 cup sharp cheddar)

- 1 tbsp yeast
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup sugar

Crabmeat au Gratin

White sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan
- Topping (optional):
- 1 1/2 lb. crabmeat
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mild cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon finely minced onion (I used more)
- Breadcrumbs (homemade)
- 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- additional breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, paprika
Pea Soup

1.In a Dutch oven or large soup pot with lid, heat oil over medium
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 6 carrots, sliced medium
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- Table grind Black pepper to taste
- 32 oz Chicken Stock or Broth
- 1 16oz split green peas, picked over and rinsed
- 1 ham bone plus two cups of ham, cut in 1/2 inch cubes
Shrimp Fried Rice

Heat the oils in a wok or a large deep skillet over medium-high heat
- 2-3 tablespoons light olive oil or organic safflower
- A dash of chili or sesame oil
- A spoonful of curry paste, curry powder, cumin, chili, ginger, turmeric- your choice
- 4 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 yellow summer squash, sliced into matchsticks
- 1 green zucchini squash, sliced into matchsticks
- 1 medium red bell pepper, cored and seeded, sliced thin
- 1 half a bag of cole slaw mix- about 2 heaping cups shredded cabbage with carrot
- a handful of frozen corn or baby peas, thawed
- 2 and 1/2 to 3 cups cooked long grain organic brown rice or brown basmati rice
- Sea salt and freshly ground pepper
- 20 frozen medium shrimp, thawed, tails removed, if you like
- A dash or two of your favorite chili sauce or gluten-free stir-fry sauce
