Potato Soup (Slow Cooker)

Combine everything (except cream cheese) in your crockpot
- 1 30 oz. bag of frozen, shredded hash browns
- 3 14 oz. cans of chicken broth
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
- 1 8 oz pkg. cream cheese
- bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, green onion, sour cream for garnish
Easy Baked Shrimp Scampi, 15-minute meat

Preheat oven to 450°. Prepare linguine
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons of horseradish or Dijon mustard
- 2 Tablespoons of white wine (or a little more if you like)
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 Tablespoon minced garlic
- Fresh parsley to garnish (or a teaspoon of dried to mix in if fresh is not available)
- 1 – 2 pounds shrimp (depending on how many you will eat)
- 1 lb. linguine or other pasta, prepared al dente
Dean Brothers' Lighter Fried Chicken

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 8 skinless boneless chicken thighs
- 1/2 teaspoon Paula Dean's House Seasoning (1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder)
- 1/4 cup light mayo
- Zest and juice of one lemon
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 1/4 cups cornflake crumbs
Brown Sugar-Glazed Ham

Place ham in ungreased large roasting pan; pour water into pan and set aside
- 10-lb. fully-cooked bone-in ham
- 1-1/2 c. water
- 1-1/4 c. dark brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 c. pineapple juice
- 1/3 c. honey
- 2 T. Dijon mustard
- 1 T. orange juice
- 2 t. orange zest
- 1/4 t. ground cloves
Black Eyed Peas

Wash and sort black eyed peas, removing an hulls or stones
- 1/2 lb. hog jowl, chopped (may substitute bacon or ham)
- 2 tablespoons bacon grease or oil
- 1 lb dry black eyed peas
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Pork Loin Roast, Boneless (Slow Cooker)

Rub pork with salt and pepper
- 1 (4 to 5 lb.) boneless pork loin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 clove garlic, slivered
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 whole clove
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Cheese Sauce (Cheddar)

Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat
- 1/2 pound shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 teaspoons dry sherry
Beef Stroganoff (Slow Cooker)

Trim excess fat from steak and cut into 3-inch strips about 1/2-inch wide
- 3 lbs. beef round steak, 1/2 inch thick
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 2 (4 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms, drained or 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 1 can condensed beef broth
- 1/2 cup dry white wine (optional)
- 1 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup flour

- 3/4 pound medium pasta shells
- 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, grated (about 1 1/2 cups)

- 2 limes, zested, divided

- 8 drops yellow food color
- 3 drops green food color
