- 2 packages (1/4 ounce each) active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water (110° to 115°)

- 4 plum tomatoes, cut lengthwise in half
- 1/4 cup KRAFT Lite Zesty Italian Dressing

Mardi Gras Salad with Creole Mustard Salad Dressing

- 1/2 cup shortening (I generally use Crisco)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-1/3 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon table salt
- 1 cup mashed bananas
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/4 cup sour milk (To make sour milk, add 1 Tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice per one cup of milk)
Jalapeño-Corn-Beer Quick Bread Recipe

Heat the oven to 350°F and arrange a rack in the middle
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon fine salt
- 12 ounces pilsner beer, such as Miller High Life or Pabst Blue Ribbon
- 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels, thawed if frozen (about 6 1/2 ounces)
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pickled jalapeños (about 2 ounces)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (1/2 stick), melted, plus more for coating the pan
