You know your kids are going to have way too much candy on Halloween, so here's a healthy snack idea for a change
- HEAD:
- Lettuce leaves
- Olive slices
- Veggie dip in a small bowl
- BODY:
- Celery
- Baby carrots
- Bell peppers
- Mushrooms
- Cherry or grape tomatoes
- Cauliflower
- Broccoli
- Cucumbers
Grasshopper

Tuna and Cantaloupe Salad

If you like, 1 package (6 ounces) frozen Chinese pea pods can be substitute for the fresh pea pods
- 6 ounces Chinese pea pods
- 2 cams (6 1/2 ounces each) tuna, drained
- 3 cups cooked rice
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 1 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 3 small cantaloupes
- 1/3 cup salted cashews or peanuts, coarsely chopped
Meat Lovers Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir onions and Italian sausage until the sausage is browned...
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 small onions, chopped
- 1 pound leftover beef roast, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herb seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can Italian-style diced tomatoes
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can Italian-style stewed tomatoes
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
Frank 'n Beans Soup

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan, stirring to combine the soups with the water and milk
- 10 oz. can condensed bean and bacon soup
- 10 oz. can condensed tomato soup
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 hot dogs, cut into 1/2" pieces

CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT SAUCE: Combine and warm all ingredients in a small saucepan on low heat
- CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT SAUCE:
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 c. Nutella
- 1/3 c. milk
- RASPBERRY VANILLA SAUCE:
- 1/2 c. raspberry preserves (or jam if you don't like the seeds)
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- BUTTERSCOTCH CARAMEL SAUCE:
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c, brown sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
Jello Pineapple Slices

Pour out liquid from a can of sliced pineapple and reserve
- 1 can (large) pineapple slices
- 3 oz box Jell-o gelatin mix
- 1 cup boiling liquid (the pineapple juice + water to = 1 cup

Tuna Veggie Macaroni

Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain
- 1-1/4 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 5 ounces process cheese (Velveeta), cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups frozen peas and carrots, thawed
- 1 can (5 ounces) albacore white tuna in water
- 1/4 teaspoon dill weed
Beef Tortellini Soup

In a Dutch oven or soup kettle, brown beef; drain
- 1 pound ground turkey or beef
- 7 cups beef broth
- 2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) stewed tomatoes
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 3/4 cup thinly sliced carrots
- 3/4 cup thinly sliced celery
- 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1-1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 bay leaves
- 1-1/2 cups frozen cheese tortellini
- Grated Parmesan cheese, optional
