Place sliced cucumber and onions in a large container or bowl
- Makes about 6 Cups
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1-2 teaspoons celery seed (I use 2)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups sliced cucumber
- 3 small onions, thinly sliced

1. Place bread slices on a work surface; butter one side and turn over butter side down
- Four 1/2-inch (1 cm) thick slices sourdough bread, about 4-1/2 inch (11 cm) square*
