Marinara Sauce, Really Simple
By LadyRev-2
I was hungry for marinara sauce and pasta -- had the pasta, but not the marinara, so I whipped up this super simple
- 3 cans Muir Glen whole organic tomatoes
- 1 medium/large sweet onion
- 5 cloves garlic
- parsley (definitely fresh if you have it; otherwise, dried)
- oregano
- Bay leaf
- Also add basil -- I didn't have any when I "created" this but would definitely include (again, fresh if you have it; otherwise dried)
- olive oil
- butter
