- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large head cauliflower, separated into florets
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Orange Sugar Cookies

These are very good; this was Aunt Dorothy's recipe
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup shortening (half oleo or butter)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 tsp soda in buttermilk (pour out half of above milk first)
- Grated rind and juice of 2 oranges
- 5 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp salt
- Frosting
- 1 pound powdered sugar
- 1/4 pound butter
- juice and rind of one orange

Pecan Dreams

- 1 Cup (1/2#) butter
- 6 Tbsp Confectioners sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp water
- 2 Cups flour
- 1 1/2 Cup chopped pecans

You can use any pasta in this recipe: broken spaghetti, elbows, other smaller
- 1 cup dried white Navy Beans (Great Northern)
- 2 cans (10 3/4 oz) condensed chicken broth
- salt
- 1 small head cabbage ( 1 1/2#)
- 4 carrots (1/2#)
- 2 medium potatoes (3/4#)
- 1 can (1#) Italian style tomatoes
- 2 medium onions (1/2#)
- 1/4 cup olive or salad oil
- 1 stalk celery
- 2 zucchini (1/2#)
- 1 large tomato)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 cup broken up thin spaghetti
Emeril's Blue Cheese Waldorf Salad

In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and vinegar
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup grated yellow onion
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Pinch cayenne
- 2 cups diced sweet red apples, such as Gala or Jonathan (2 to 3 medium apples)
- 1 cup thinly sliced celery
- 1/2 cup red seedless grapes, halved
- 1/2 cup walnut pieces, broken
- 1 head Bibb lettuce, cored and leaves separated
