Seven Layer Salad (Green)

This salad has always been one of my favorites
- 1 head 'hearts of romaine' Romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup light sour cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp fresh cracked pepper
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1-2 tsp fresh lemon juice, up to 1 Tbsp to thin dressing if desired (try white wine vinegar)
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 hard boiled eggs, sliced
- 2 thick slices bacon, cooked, chopped
Yeast Bread: No Knead Artisan Bread

No Knead Bread Recipe is adapted from Mark Bittman of NY Times who got it from Sullivan Street Bakery
- 3 cups bread flour (or 3 cups all-purpose + 3 Tbsp. vital wheat gluten)
- 1/4 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon fine table salt (or 3/4 tablespoon of kosher salt)
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- Covered pot (five-quart or larger cast iron, Pyrex, ceramic, enamel...something that can go into a 450F oven.)
Cookies: Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup ground graham cracker crumbs (4 full-size crackers, pulsed in food processor)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 40 miniature chocolate covered peanut butter cups, unwrapped

1. Combine honey and butter in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat
- 4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cups plain granola
- 1 cup rice cereal (Rice Krispies, etc.)
- 2 tbsp. graham cracker crumbs (optional)
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
