ITALIAN GARDEN SALAD

- 1 1/2 c. uncooked small pasta (rotini, macaroni, etc.)
- 3 Tbs. vinegar
- 1 tsp. dill weed
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1 c. chopped tomato (or cherry tomatoes)
- 1 c. sliced zucchini
- 1 small can tuna or chicken, drained
CROCKPOT CHICKEN TERIYAKI

- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast tenders
- 1 can (6-oz.) pineapple juice
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1 Tbs. sugar
- 1 Tbs. minced ginger
- 1 Tbs. vegetable oil
- 1 Tbs. molasses
FROZEN FRUIT SALAD

Cut up the bananas into slices and the peach slices into chunks
- 3 – 4 bananas
- 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 29 oz. can peaches, undrained
- 6 oz. can frozen orange juice, undiluted
BLACKENED TILAPIA

- 4-6 tilapia fillets
- 2 Tbs. paprika
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp dried, crushed basil
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- Olive oil for coating
LASAGNE

(Mother's recipe) This is the recipe we grew up with at home
- 2 Tbs. salad oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 8-oz. can tomato sauce
- 2 1/2 c. tomato juice
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 8 oz. lasagne noodles
- 1/2 lb. sliced mozzarella cheese
- 3/4 lb. cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan
CRANBERRY WALNUT SALAD

Place all ingredients in a bowl
- 2 pkg. European salad greens
- 1/2 c. dried cranberries or dried cherries
- 1/2 c. walnut pieces
- 1/3 c. feta cheese, crumbled
- 6-8 oz. Girard's Champagne Salad Dressing
GARLIC LIME CHICKEN

- 4 chicken breast halves, skinned and boned
- 1/2 c. low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 c. fresh lime juice
- 1 Tbs. Worchestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
WALNUT GORGONZOLA SALAD

- Salad Mixture:
- Romaine, Spinach, Radicchio
- Honey Mustard Salad Dressing:
- 1/3 c. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 Tbs. balsamic vinegar
- 4 tsp. honey
- 1 Tbs. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP

- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbs. Butter
- 1/3 c. flour
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 2 c. half and half
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
- 1/2 c. dry sherry or vermouth
- 1/4 tsp. Angostura bitters
CHEX PARTY MIX

Melt margarine in open roasting pan in preheated 250 F oven
- 1/4 c. margarine or butter
- 5 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 2/3 c. Corn Chex
- 2 2/3 c. Rice Chex
- 2 2/3 c. Wheat Chex
- 1 c. mixed nuts
- 1 c. pretzels
