PEANUT BUTTEROOS

Cook syrup and sugar together in saucepan until mixture begins to boil
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. sugar
- 6 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. peanut butter
- 6 oz. chocolate chips
- 6 oz. peanut butter chips

- 1 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips (or 3/4 pkg. chocolate, 1/2 pkg. butterscotch)
- 1/2 c. smooth peanut butter
- 1 stick margarine/butter
- 6 c. Crispix cereal
- Powdered sugar
SPAGHETTI SQUASH CASSEROLE

- 1 8-inch spaghetti squash
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 medium cloves crushed garlic
- 2 fresh tomatoes (medium-sized)
- 1/2 lb. fresh, sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- Salt and pepper
- Butter for sauté
- 1 c. cottage or ricotta cheese
- 1 c. grated mozzarella
- 1/4 c. freshly-chopped parsley
- 1 tsp. basil
- Dash of thyme
- 1 c. fine bread crumbs.
- Parmesan for the top
LEMON PULL-APARTS

- 12 frozen dinner rolls, thawed
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 lemon peels, grated
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 Tbs. lemon juice
- 1 Tbs. butter, melted
HOT BUTTERED RUM

Melt butter; add the rest of the ingredients
- 1 lb. butter
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 1 lb. granulated sugar
- 1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. nutmeg

- 2 Tbs. butter
- 2 Tbs. Crisco
- Add:
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 4 Tbs. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla

- Soak overnight in saucepan with enough water to cover:
- 1 box pearl tapioca
- Cook tapioca and water over medium heat until tapioca is very thick and clear. Cool.
ORANGE ROLLS

Aunt Juaniece (Love) brought these to many family gatherings over the years
- 2/3 c. shortening
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/ tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. boiling water
- Mix the above together and let cool.
- 2 cakes yeast
- 2/3 c. cold water
- Place yeast in the water and let stand 5 minutes. Stir.
- 2 beaten eggs
- 4 c. unsifted flour
DRIED BEEF FONDUE

Cook onion in margarine until transparent
- 2 Tbs. margarine
- 1 Tbs. chopped onion
- 8 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 5 oz. chipped beef, shredded finely
- 1/4 c. half and half
- Dash of Worcestershire sauce
- Toasted French bread chunks for dunking
AMARETTO SUBSTITUTE

Combine the water with the sugars in a medium glass pitcher or bowl
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. dark brown sugar
- 3/4 c. very hot water
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1 1/2 c. 80-proof vodka
- 1 Tbs. almond extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
