Apple Crumble Bars

Preheat the oven to 375° Fahrenheit
- For the Crust:
- 3 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- For the Filling:
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 12 fresh, crisp apples (about 6 pounds), peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup water, as necessary
- For the Topping:
- 1 cup walnuts, toasted and roughly chopped
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 sticks unsalted butter, cubed and chilled
Paula Deen's Gorilla Bread

Cherry 7 Up Cake is a classic, yet decadent treat
- 3 sticks butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces Cherry 7Up
- 3 cups cake flour
- 1/2 cup Maraschino cherries, finely chopped
- 4 ounces Maraschino cherry juice
Black Magic Cake

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans or one 13x9x2-inch baking pan
- 2 cups sugar
- 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup HERSHEY’S Cocoa
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk or sour milk*
- 1 cup strong black coffee OR 2 teaspoons powdered instant coffee plus 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Aloha Peach Pies

Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark cookie sheet)
- 2 Pillsbury® Grands!® frozen buttermilk biscuits (from 25-oz bag)
- 1 cup Cascadian Farm® frozen organic sliced peaches (from 10-oz bag), thawed as directed on bag
- 2 Pillsbury® Big Deluxe Classics® refrigerated white chocolate chunk macadamia nut cookies (from 16-oz package)
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon chips
- 2 tablespoons flaked coconut
- 1 pint (2 cups) vanilla ice cream, if desired
Crockpot Applesauce

1. Peel, core and chop the apples
- 8 medium apples (Use a combination of Golden Delicious, Honey Crisp, Fuji, Gala, etc.) (I filled the crockpot, using about 20 small apples)
- 1 strips of lemon peel - use a vegetable peeler
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 inch cinnamon stick
- 5 tsp light brown sugar (unpacked) - or agave
Snickerdoodle Cake

To Bake the Cake: -Preheat oven to 325°F
- For the Cake:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups cake flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 sticks butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 3/4 cups fine or superfine sugar
- 4 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups whole milk, warmed to room temperature
- For the Buttercream:
- 4 1/2 sticks butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 8-9 cups confectioner's (powdered) sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of half and half, plus more if needed
- Optional: Whole cinnamon sticks for garnish
Sausage and Lentil Soup

1. In a large bowl, cover the lentils with boiling water and allow to sit for 15 minutes
- 1 pound green lentils
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb ground Italian sausage (You can also use ground Italian turkey sausage)
- 1 cup diced onion (about 1 large)
- 1 1/2 cups diced celery (about 4 stalks)
- 1 1/2 cups diced carrots (about 3-2 large)
- 1 1/2 cup diced zucchini (about 1 small)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic (2 large cloves)
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
- grated Parmesan
- fresh parsley
White Chocolate Bread Pudding

1 Heat oven to 325°F. Grease shallow 3-quart casserole with shortening or spray with cooking spray
- 2 cups whipping (heavy) cream
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 8 oz white baking bars (white chocolate), cut into 1/4- to 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 8 egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 baguette (about 25 inches), thinly sliced
- 1 bag (12 oz) frozen raspberries, thawed
Inside-Out Cabbage Rolls

In a Dutch oven, cook the beef, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain
- 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 1 small head cabbage, chopped
- 1 can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes and green chilies
- 1 cup reduced-sodium beef broth
- 1 can (8 ounces) pizza sauce
