- 2/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 2/3 cups milk
- 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Hot Broccoli Cheese Dip

- ● 1 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ● 1 cup sour cream
- ● 1 env Zesty Italian Dressing mix
- ● 1 10 oz broccoli, frozen, chopped, then thawed and well drained

Grilled Orange Chicken

1. Preheat a grill for medium heat
- 1/2 cup orange marmalade
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon rubbed sage (I didn't have, so I sprinkled ground ginger in)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 1 (3 pound) chicken, cut into pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
Bacon wrapped Asparagus

Preheat oven, if using, to 400 degrees F
- 1 1/2 pounds asparagus spears, trimmed 4 to 5 inches long tips
- Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
- A few grinds black pepper
- 4 slices center cut bacon or pancetta
- Chopped chives or scallions, optional garnish

Broccoli Cole Slaw

- 2 bags (3-ounce) Ramen Noodle Soup in Oriental (other flavors will work, too)
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1/4 cup slivered or sliced almonds
- 2 bags (12-ounce) bags broccoli cole slaw (in the bagged salad section of the grocery store)
- 1/4 sunflower seeds
- raisins
- 3/4 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup brown or white sugar (I use brown)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 (notice only one!) ramen noodle seasoning packet
